Jordan Porter is a 21-year old singer/songwriter from St. Paul, Minnesota. After hearing Billy Bragg’s “Back to Basics” for the first time in high school, Jordan picked up a guitar and began hammering away. After gathering up enough know-how on the guitar, elements of the delta blues and classic country sifted into his sound, forming his now trademark mix of folk, blues, pop, and of course, melodrama. Warming hearts all across the Mid-West, Jordan and his backing band—The Hungry Bear Brigade—are poised to stage a coup of your musical soul. Or at least they aim to get those toes a tappin’.
