This album consists of a dozen laid-back and atmospheric tracks. While built from electronic plug-ins and sound modules, all tempo markers within the sequencing software were ignored, instead relying solely on the internal beat of the music as it grew voice by voice. The aim was to create an aural landscape very much like a sleepy summer afternoon. I've been making electronic music since 2004, and the inspiration for this project was to go spare and simple. That is, to return to those "Music for Airports" days. To go back to those Berlin-era Bowie albums, and the work of Jean-Michel Jarre and Larry Fast which formed the basis of my introduction to electronic music.
