Post Death Soundtrack is the antithesis of todays mainstream music culture, creating confrontational music by weaving Industrial, Electronic, Trip-Hop and Rock sounds. Post Death Soundtrack is a duo made up of Steve Moore and Kenneth Buck who share vocal, musical and production roles. In this project, style is less important than mood as it strives to encourage thought and communication on a deep level.
On September 16 2008 Post Death Soundtrack released their debut full length album entitled "Music as Weaponry". The album made industrial radio show Razor Blade Dance Floor's Top 100 of 2008 list alongside Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, Ohgr, and Ministry. A conceptual album, "Music as Weaponry" focuses on the process of belief, it's role in the development of ideological institutions and their relation to ongoing violence - including the death of modern music. The result is the use of music as something new and powerful, lending a voice in the harmonization of the counterculture.
Post Death Soundtrack has since expanded it's fanbase, garnering airplay and top reviews from Industrial.org and Sphere Magazine, and released a series of remix packages as well as an mp3 cover of Dead can Dance's "Anywhere Out of the World" for free download at their official website.
