Album Notes

Posterchild is a NYC-based power pop band with influences ranging from American alt/pop bands like Weezer, Good Charlotte, Jellyfish, and Foo Fighters to britpop fixtures such as Radiohead, Blur, Travis, and Catherine Wheel. If you listen closely, you may even detect a hint of Beach Boys influence, as lead singer/songwriter Shane Searles is related to both Mike Love and Brian Wilson. The idea is to simply draw you in with songs that rock and then enslave you with addictively catchy melodies and lush, gigantic harmonies.
