POUMI has a singing body and a dancing voice.

Daughter of an opera singer, she has traveled throughout Asia, establishing a bridge between two cultures.

Her entire life has been dedicated to music, dance and teaching all of which has been steeped in the breadth and atmosphere of Asian philosophy.

POUMI'S career has included extensive work as a choreographer in Paris, France & New York, USA and all over India, Africa, Europe...

She studied Indian Sitar with NARENDRA BATAJI and Indian singing especially with KAKOLI and learned the technique of LILLY LEHMANN with LOUIS BOUBIER.

In 1977 she began a series of fourteen journeys to India.

At the "Temple of Thousand Buddhas" in France, she came across Tibetan Tantric Buddhism with KALU RINPOCHE in 1982. There she met in 1991 DRUKCHEN RINPOCHE who moves and inspires her deeply.
On the same path, she had previously encountered BALAYOGI, realised Buddha of India.

Poumi had strong experiences with Sufi masters by practising zikr (like mantras) which leads into a very ecstatic state.
