Hawaii music award winner John Valentine has worked his magic once again creating a timeless sound that can be enjoyed by all. The Power of Two features 2007 Hawaii Stars Winner Yvette Nii on vocals along with John's voice & guitar remaking sideclassic such as Music and Me, I Don't Wanna Wait and Wahine Ili kea along with new originals that are sure to become loved favorites. Studio musician: Adriano Larioza added percussions & Cajon.

Soldier Hero, a Valentine original sung by Yvette, is a song of love, of heartbreak, and of appreciation for our brave warriors who cross the globe in support of a cause they believe in. This powerful song is sure to touch the hearts of all who hear it.

• Distinguishing notes: Romance rules in the collaborations of Yvette Nii and John Valentine; both share lead and background roles and both demonstrate composer prowess here. With a guitaraccented, folksy feel, Nii (a fresh voice in Hawai'i's night-life scene) and Valentine (a veteran of the circuit) offer whisper-soft gentleness, tenderness and sweetness through and through, whether on an original like her "Through Someone Else's Eyes" or his "Fill Me With Love Songs." Together, they project a sound that's delicate and dreamy ("Music & Me," "Say Anything"). Of the covers, Dennis Kamakahi's "Wahine 'Ilikea" throbs with wholesome love in Nii's treatment and she dusts off Dusty Springfield's "I Only Want To Be With You" with simple strokes. Their duets on "The Prayer" and "Whenever I Call You Friend" provide lessons in faithful interpretation and delivery.
