Joey and Jerry just do it. Are you guys playing as Powerthud any time soon? Better yet, a blast to the past and put together one of those absolutely unforgettable nights that used to rattle the cinder block walls of Bodie's. How about it? Joey & the Mentals, Powerthud, The ??Farmers??, The Paladins, The Forbidden Pigs, DFX2, Mojo Friggin Nixon, Tomcat Courtney.....remember? That was LIVIN!

Raney & Harris up to their old tricks.

I've been a Beat Farmer fan since I heard my first tune on a local college radio station in '85. I think this album is great specimen of the music and musicianship of this fine duo. Every song hits the right note in the Roots Rock style that I so love. You can't go wrong buying this album if it's your favorite genre too.

Raney & Harris are major league

The CD rocks. Raney is probably one of the very best guitarists around and doesn't get the attention he deserves. Raney and Harris make a great combination. The addition of a fine keyboard players adds some real texture to a straight out rock & roll recording. Good songs, good production (more Raney in the mix please). If you liked the Beat Farmers, you'll like this. If you don't know who The Beat Farmers are......check them out - I hope Raney/Harris keep making recordings until they're flat too old.
