Winner of the 2006 Just Plain Folks Best Celtic Album Award, Liver Let Die is the fourth CD released by the Poxy Boggards -- the drinking group with a singing problem.

The disc contains original and traditional songs of drinking and revelry, and features "I Wear No Pants" recently featured in a Super Bowl commercial.

The Poxy Boggards were founded in 1993 in a shabby apartment in Long Beach, California. It was an excuse to sing, drink and flirt with women at the local Renaissance Faire.

From their earliest performances, the Poxy Boggards became known for their rich, robust, raucous harmonies. Many a traditional tune has been reinvented with the Boggard sound, and their original music makes a rich -- albeit irreverent -- addition to the body of American West Coast folk music.

Fifteen years and five CDs later, the Boggards continue to shock and delight audiences in the Southern California Area.

Many years of Ren Faire and many repetitions of these songs have still not spoiled them for me. I am a harmony junky, and the Boggarts definitely get it.
