Album Notes

A lot of people can say they been rapping since the 3rd grade, but Prime has been writing and rapping for years. He started laying down tracks in 1997. Prime co-founded the Indie known as Playahs Paradise Entertainment in 1999 with business partner Jeffrey Andersen (Intox). It’s all about good music now, and that’s what they try to instill in young rappers that come through the PPE studio. "Either they can take the advice or they can learn the hard way", says Prime. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana Prime has a story of so many who was never stuck with nothing, but who lived to struggle, henceforth lived the struggle in urban society. Prime’s songs tell the grim tells of the street life and the not so easy times in the game. "The Game is life, and we are all playahs in it", explains Prime. Prime left his childhood and teenage years and joined the military where he met his fellow business partners. Together they built a studio and over the years began telling there stories, which consist of: daily occurrences, past incidents, and scarred memories. Prime raps of his days on the streets as a teenager, his past playahlistic years, the tragic stories within his lifetime, the rules of the game, and how things now have changed. Prime's story is one you must hear through his music, it will reveal all unlike the TV show Ex-Files, The Truth..... Has Arrived.
