Paper Pills, based out of Los Angeles, California, is a coming together of Jorge Acosta, Kenny Ramirez and Ted Okasinski. Carrageenan is their debut CD which has been in the making for about 2 years.
Jorge was born and raised in LA but his roots are from the deep, dark mountains and jungles of Peru. It's rumored that he has direct lineage to the Incan's themselves, but we aren't sure if that's true.
Ken Ramirez can be often found at the beach, that's his second home. If he's not surfing the waves, he's surfing the concert scene.
Ted Oka, is a man that comes from the island of Malta. He used to have a Maltese Falcon as a pet and was planning to incoporate it into the band, but the Falcon didn't travel well. So eventually he set him free.

Awesome Trio of Musicians

When i first heard this band on a compilation cd i thought there sound was great. When i listened and studied them further i was amazed that such sounds could be captured by only three members. If you are a fan or radiohead or more importantly lead singer Thom Yorke then this is a band you need to check out.

So far the Best Cd I have heard ever!!! It has a song for every mood, that a person can be in..... not to mention the variety is perfect, from slow songs, to spanish, to just about everything you can think of! The Paper Pills are great song writers and it's totally noticable in this CD!
