Album Notes
Recorded just after their Aurora Australis release, Head Cleaner is a turn into more urban ambiences and melancholic themes. There is a focus on the eastern block and Berlin in particular on these tracks. This could be the soundtrack for a night in the everchanging landscape of East Berlin or any city in flux. The track - The Roofless Stars - may be one of the band's most enigmatic statements, mixing atmosphere, dub and moody beauty. Each track builds on the others to be taken out into the headspace of an urban explorer.
