Album Notes

You have entered a site of thought, participation, frustration, and hope. I am politically charged with anger at my own society. My manifesto is full of old ideas that remain, as yet, untried. When the mistakes, evil, contradictions, and alienations continually repeat themselves. You would think that we would collectively try something new, but the path to self annihilation is unblocked, and well trod. It's time to seek a new revolution, television is optional...

Why this name?
It's what we do....preach about life around us

Do you play live?
Yes we love to perform and feel the energy of the crowd....we have been to alot of venues around Chicago

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'm hoping we all band together and demand more variety and better quality of muscianship from our artists...just because 50 cent or Little John sold alot of units dosen't mean every new act must imitate their sound....thats why traditional cd sales are in the toilet

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes because of distribution and advertising...I would have to maintain creative freedom

Band History:
The band Konstant Groove are a collaboration of professional muscians who adopted an erstwhile Hip-Hop poet with a message they respected

Your influences?
Robert Nestor Marley, Common, Mos Def,Steel Pulse,Jay Dilla,Bob Dylan,Buddy Guy, Curtis Mayfield

Favorite spot?
Chicago's Lakefront or Port Royal Jamaica

Equipment used:
Live instruments and keyboards to supplement

Anything else...?
God is real, Life is about more than rims and violence, and loving one another and being a responsible man to your family is the true sign of bravery
