Based out of San Diego, CA they are taking in the sun and writing about all the ups and downs of life as they know it. Catchy guitar riffs, quirky lyrics and a young innocence are all streamlined in their music, while strong male/female harmonies set them apart from other bands. Instead of a drummer, they use synth and drum machines to add a pumping electronic feel to an otherwise acoustic sound. They love interacting with the crowd and always want to bring a feel-good show to their audience.

The Predicates have recorded 4 albums to date with their latest one, "Words Teeth Sleep" released in June of 2009. Their discography includes their 1st album, “Dissin’ Treez” which is an all acoustic album, 2nd album, “Let Me Carry Your Books” indie/rock with a drummer, 3rd album “Wicked Smart” acoustic with elements of electronic instruments mixed in, and 4th album, "Words Teeth Sleep" where the 3 band members really start to mesh and bring their best album yet.
