Album Notes

This is the second release of Chicago area based rockers Prehensile Tale. Since the mid-eighties, Tale has been a vehicle for that hard-driving, take out your frustrations type sound without going overboard, so to speak. Their material can be complex with many changes or simple and to the point, but almost always with that cutting edge. Tale attempts to be more “mainstream” here, but they never lose that hard rock mentality. Founder, song writer, vocalist and lead guitarist Rich Matz and bassist Jim Jarvis have been with the band since its inception. Drummer Timur Bulut came on board in 1993 and his brother Noyan Bulut joined as rhythm guitarist in 1998. The band draws its influences from the likes of Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Humble Pie and UFO to name a few.
