The Nice Guys is an album with a fresh approach to rap music combined with sophisticated ideas and jazz oriented grooves and progressions. The Artists Heath Towson and Nick Stubblefield, also known as MC Preparayshun H and MC Nuggett wanted to present a new concept of being a "Nice Guy" in an era where sophistication, witty humor, and style have seemed to fall by the wayside. The album features clever insights into pop culture phenomenons such as the Snuggie Blanket on the track "Snug wit me" and pays tribute to their hometown Asheville North Carolina on the tune "Rollin in the AVL."
