A sweet distillation of family tradition with an alternative sound:

Country music with a frequent edge. "My Saviour, My Sin", the opening tribute to home and hearth, showcases the duo's vocal harmonies in a rocking Appalachian arrangement. The mandolin driven, "Carryin' Coal" spotlights Kelly's distinctive, smoky voice. Radio friendly but still tasty! Very cool. I think this is a great album. "Faster" ... very soulful vocal, excellent ballad, "Southern Sound" .... organ rocks... so does Kaylen's vocal, "Mississippi Moon" - nice little semi-hidden, down home, lo-fi track.
