Album Notes

Over 10 years in the making, Pretty in Velvet is the artistic dream of Kage as well as his first solo release. Performing in other bands over the years (Coven of Hate, Murder in the Dark, and Scott Crawford) and sharing the stage with the likes of the Serpenteens, Get Precious, The Lost Patrol, and Strange Things Done in the Midnight Sun, Pretty in Velvet encompasses 80's new wave ( Gary Numan, Information Society) with a bit of Goth/Industrial flare ( Mesh, Devision, Assemblage 23) and old school rock ( Alice Cooper ) and creates a unique sound of it's own.

The debut album "Scream" is an experiment into keyboard driven, emotion gripping music capturing moments of the artist's life and shoving them into your skull. Pretty in Velvet is out to show people that synthpop is alive, well, and ready to take on the world. This is the re-mastered version giving you an even crisper, sharper sound so you can hear it the way it was meant to be heard. So listen and leave a review.
