Driven by aggressive and sophisticated levels of musicianship, off-the-cuff dancing, razor-sharp wit, and a love for well-crafted pop songs, Chicago-based Probably Vampires play a refreshingly diverse batch of 60's-influenced power pop, soul, funk, and blues-rock tunes that sound fresh and catchy, but still manage to swagger and sway like the barn-burning blues of old. From the infectious beat of the British-Invasion-inspired "Every Single Time" and the chunky, blues-inspired guitar riffs of "Shock and Awe;" to the Brian Wilson style harmonies of "Pretty Girl Blues," the serpentine funk-soul of "Rivet Them Beams" and "Smell Your Heat," and the jazzy keyboard runs of "One More Night" and "Yes I Do;" "Dang!" is a veritable early rock/pop style manual that showcases 5 unique and meticulous musicians who aren't afraid to take familiar-sounding tunes and blow them up.
