Workshop. The term brings to mind dusty attic or basement spaces, workbenches covered in sawdust, ancient hand tools used in the process of turning raw materials into something beautiful. Such is the birthplace of the music on this compilation. Dedicated, creative musicians from across North America and Europe toiling away in seclusion,
shaving and sculpting away at their work until they have a finished product to share with the world.
From the hard-edged guitar-oriented rock of Salva to the ambient textures and shifting synth timbres of Systems Theory, and many points between and outside of those, the music here was created by independent musicians away from
the eyes and concerns of major record labels.
We would like this music and these artists to be enjoyed by as many people as possible, so that they may enjoy the fruits of our labors. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed creating what you are about to hear. Thank you for listening.
Chris Mendelis
