Larry Morris aka "Professor Boggs" has been performing music for about 10 years now with the Celtic folk/rock band Emerald Rose (www.emeraldrose.com). The "Professor Boggs" side project grew out of a love for science (yes, he's a science geek) and a desire to see kids find their own path to understanding science and the scientific method.

Professor Boggs' songwriting style is engaging, witty, funny and based on simple, catchy melodies that span a range of styles, from rocking down with Avogadro to a Calypso steel-drums take on Einstein! The music is a tool to teach serious, accurate and in-depth science, however. Songs are linked directly to national science standards for life sciences, earth/space science, and physical science.

The debut CD "Mad Science Factory" is an Enhanced CD with both audio and data content. The songs are backed up with student handouts, teacher notes, and lesson plans, making this CD a COMPLETE educator's package as well as a fun, listenable CD! This is ideal for both public and private classroom use, as well as being a great homeschooler's resource.
