There are certain questions we all must answer. Chief among them is, “Does God exist?” Acclaimed indie hip-hop artist proGrammar (proGrammar.net) is no different in this respect, despite being raised by a staunchly Atheist mother and effectively Agnostic father. If anything, this strongly areligious upbringing cleared the way for him to come to his own conclusions about any possible Higher Powers, free from any intellectual precommitments to religious dogma. Moreover, he has developed, over years of hip-hop fanaticism, the lyrical and musical ability to put his musings and contemplations into sonic form. The end result is “My God!” a hardcore hip-hop journey from Earth to Hell to Heaven and back again. Join with proGrammar as he mines philosophical and spiritual gold investigating the sublime in the mundane and vice-versa, never shying away from tough questions and tougher answers via his grimy, yet sparkling, beats and brilliant, forceful lyrics. This is hip-hop with a brain, a heart and a soul!

"proGrammar has...a hiphop heart. [One of the] golden few-the sensitive descendants of Q-Tip...-who prefer to deal with matters of the heart. [W]orth watching."
-Charles Mudede, The Stranger, October 2002
