"Six-String Extremes" is the first speaker melting volume in the new Progressive Arts Music series, Fresh Blood.

This first volume highlights four of the worlds hottest guitar talents: Texas progressive guitar master Joel Gregoire (guitarist for prog-metallers Stride, who will release their debut album for the Sensory label in October of 2005, and a feature instructor for the renowned National Guitar Workshop), New Jersey jazz fusion afficianado Scott Lerner (who lends his John Scofield meets Robben Ford style to this release), the diverse country pckin' meets Eric Johnson stylings of Houstonite Scott A. Smith, and the unique jazz meets rock intensity of New England's Scott Hughes.
