In about 1997, Jared Bryant left Salford University of Electronic Engineering, to develop professional, technological skills in Music Therapy.
Project Blubook was born from the marriage of man and machine, originally more 'movement' based, the compositions developed into familiar 'arrangements'.
Severn Valley Soul is an on-going project, that bore 'Edgeway' to the world, recruiting the finest percussionists, keyboard players, vocalists, etc. the 'Black Country' has to offer.

Great depth of styles, perfectly executed
author: Giles Peterson
I can only say that Project Blubook has all the elements to be one of the most original, experimental dance acts in the UK. Faultless Melodies, un-resenting lyrics and blissful, chunky production, that might well be too far into the future, for the average joe to believe. If you trust my opinion, don't hesitate, at the very least LISTEN...THE FUTURE IS HERE..

Upbeat Trip Hop meets dark D&B (for starters)
author: Melody Maker (Common UK Underground)
This is a sure-fire, punch-packed debut, with melody and rhythm bursting out in all diretions. Bryant has even managed to capsulate at least 15 years worth of diverse British dance styles, and somewhat successfully. No 'dilly-dallying' here, just pure, uncomprimised freshness, and combined with Gill's vocals, it just leaves me to thank the Lord, that this dynamic duo are doing things their way. CELEBRATE, BUY THIS RECORD NOW!
