Lost Lips is one of the songs written for the video series Erie Effects: A Year in the Life of a Lake, 2011.
Every morning at 8:30am during 2011, the lovely and gracious Lola headed out to the bluff on Lake Erie west of Cleveland, Ohio, with her Olympus E-420 Digital SLR and 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 ED Zuiko Digital Lens to “capture the moment.” Indecision over which view would be best resulted in taking shots to the East, North and West (no lake view to the south). Over 25,000 photos were narrowed down and compiled into time lapse videos. Since video without audio is like pasta without sauce, music was needed and that's where Project Mojo "came in to the picture."
Project Mojo was founded with a deceptively simple idea: just have fun playing great tunes and our sound can only be described as Great American “Mutt” music: a mixed breed with an ancestry scattered haphazardly across the musical spectrum. Like all mutts, it is good tempered and friendly.
"Carousel Dream" from our first CD, Operation Thunderclap placed 6th out of over 700 entries in the 2010 Great Lakes Song Writing Contest.
Project Mojo performs locally in the Great Lakes area and has logged 650+ gigs in the past seven years.
"A Year in the Life of a Lake" videos can be viewed on the Erie Effects YouTube Channel or at www.erieeffects.com and the pick of the pics from those 25,000 shots, along with Lola's other photos can be viewed at www.sympholio.com.
