Album Notes

Mass Pro and Laf Legend are two hip hop producers native to Jacksonville, FL who formed Prolegend Productions in 1999. The 2003 ground-breaking debut release Revolution Revalationz was well received on the underground market. Along with producing thier own music they have also produced for numerous local Jacksonville artists.(Ville Click, A.M.P, Cuz 'n Dem etc) They have honed their sounds from the gritty duval streets as well as from influences deeply rooted in the southern traditon of soul, funk, blues, jazz, and gospel. The album Revolution Revalationz is a down south classic that encompasses all aspects of Hip Hop. Featured jacksonville artists include Laf Legend, Mass Pro, Lankdizzim, Nick W., Blakso, J-Co, Dv8, Ty-stic, Spottie, Solo, Face, TJ, and Sheka. 2006 is scheduled to be a harvest filled year for Prolegend as they embark on many projects, including the highly anticapted release of Mass Pro presents Caution: Contents Under Pressure as well as two new full length albums from Prolegend Movement. Look out for all of these releases on CDbaby

Great Intro CD...especially the intro track of the CD :)!

I truly enjoyed this CD even when I first heard it in 2003. Some of the tracks are classic hip-hop tracks like the groups Jacksonville version of Nas' NY State of Mind. The group has an excellent blend of various voices and talents/styles/genres. I extremely loved the intro of the CD! SMILES! Queen Mariset
