Album Notes

The Promise Drive is a pop-punk/emo band from Georgia that was started by guitarist Richard Wade and vocalist Zac Wisener during the summer of 2002. Adding Richard's best friend, Ricky Hess on bass, the band recorded their first album (The Book of Sadness) that Christmas with the help of Philip Carpenter on drums. Philip would soon join the band along with Richards’ college roommate, Geoff Abarr, on guitar. They then went on to record their second album (Right on Brother) in 2004.

After a few member changes and Jacob Tyndall as their new drummer, the band recorded their latest self-titled album with producer and recording engineer, Lee Dyess (From First to Last, Chasing Victory, Mayday Parade), in 2007.
