Album Notes

"Once the smokes cleared who will be left standing?" There are many thought provoking questions that are not easily answered. In Prophecy's Debut album, "Visions of Destruction" Prophecy ponders upon these questions with an intriguing flow and wordplay that is unmatched. His style strays away from the R&B thug image, which every other artist seems to portray. Prophecy hits you with real life situations expressed through dramatized storytelling while at the same time examining spiritual conflicts that every person can relate to. Along with his storytelling, Prophecy delivers lyrical bombardments that display his ability to attack opponents that oppose him lyrically.

Prophecy was raised on the south side of Milwaukee in a Puerto Rican household. Hip hop influenced his life at an early age, starting when his older brother used to break dance, graffiti and listen to Run DMC, LL Cool J, Rakim, Slick Rick and other pioneers of hip hop. Growing up with this passion for Hip Hop music Prophecy was later driven to start a career as a Hip Hop artist himself. In the summer of 2000 is when he began writing. He quickly established a sense of direction and style with his lyrics that he soon began recording multiple tracks in the spring of 2001.

Milwaukee is an unknown market filled with many undiscovered, talented Hip Hop artists with unique styles. Prophecy plans to bring Milwaukee to the forefront of the music industry with his hard-hitting lyricism. Prophecy is currently putting the finishing touches on his second album, his demo, and his group album. This may be the first time you have ever heard of Prophecy but I promise you it won't be the last!

REVIEWS

solid across the board

Good Album. He's a strong lyricist. You can tell he puts thought into everything he writes. He consistantly stays above average lyrically. Beats mostly stand at average, with a couple that rise above. The album was not mixed the best and I think that lessens the effectiveness of some of the music. Strangely one of the stronger beats is combined with some of the least inspired lyrics on "raw and uncut". I'd say "Bomb Threat", "Afterlife" and "Rosary" are probably my favorite tracks, although others are also good. Overall a buy is recommended. I am glad I have my copy.:>

No doubt this is one one of the dopest albums comin out of the Mil-Town. Prophecy's Lyrics are on point, his flow is hot, only thing he needs now is the professional mixing and mastering to compliment his talent. This is definately a hot debut album.
