Album Notes

Baltimore’s Best Hip Hop performing duo Pro&Reg announce the local release of their full length album “Life of a Vagabond”.
Up Tempo Rock and Roll influenced tracks with advanced lyricism can be found on Life of a Vagabond, but the album is much more than that. This album is about growing up with Hip Hop and the negative and positive struggles in American society. Pro&Reg start the album with a couple up beat songs that you can assure you will not be skipping. The theme of the album really starts off with “Loly Gag”, a humorous song about being at rock bottom. Songs like “The chase”, and “Corruption” paint a picture of what young urban life can be like, while songs like “Hard Love” and “Calling Angels” reflect more positive attitudes for progression in our society. One of my favorite tracks is “So Much Style” Both Pro&Reg switch up their flow to a toung twisting pace over a slow grimey DJ Addikt produced track.
Life of a Vagabond is clearly Pro&Reg’s best of the best work. Local artists Bishop, Soulstice & Haysoos (Wade Waters), Bex, and Taiek Chi are some of the artists featured on the album, along with Philadelphia’s Chief Kamachi.
Pro&Reg first came on to the national Hip Hop scene in 2007 with the number one college radio single Bricks to Bmore feat. Newark New Jersey’s own Tame One of the legendary Artifacts. They followed that with an EP last year and now finally the full length album is upon us in 08 and it was definitely worth the wait.
