The foundation of bass and drums firmly stands supporting the accompaniment of the sometimes ambient, sometimes rhythmic, always tasteful and complimentary additions of guitar, percussion and spoken word.
The bassist and drummer, Chris Pederson and Gabe Maldonado, have been playing music together since childhood. Each one's style is both the cause and the result of the other's. Guitarist/Percussionist Chris Budin is a natural fit with the existing duo (as if he were right there developing with them).
Currently, Protosonic is working on releasing an EP entitled "Dignity in Deviance". The sound is growing, the band is changing and the next generation of Protosonic is going to leave a mark. Hope you can handle it.
