Album Notes

It started like most young musical ambitions, with a synthesizer and a guitar, but thats a whole story of it's own that is born out of many influences.

My first contact with the realm of cross geneire musical ambience and electonica soundscapes, sprung from the roots of compilations around the
time everyone was 'raving and mad for it' like many people in the prime of there life, I enjoyed the scene of dance music and loose fit jeans, that
contributed to a revolution in music all throughout the early nineties, infact at that time I remember being sucked into the speakers whilst the tracks
of 808 State and Orbital held my attention and on the other hand my interest in the artform was being cultivated and afirmed by the music labels such
as Warp and Island.

The Artifical Intelligence series by the Warp label was a turning point I seem to remember, for me; at least. A splinter of musical ideas that
seemed if you like to echo what happend to Electro and Hip Hop in the 80's. At that time a label here in England was doing very well with
this attitude 'Street Sounds Records' with its Electro series from 1 to 18 (I think) was bringing loads of new artists together, and like all good compilations
each release seemed to carry a theme and texture to the whole package.

That's kinda what I'm into, I like variation, but I do like themes and I like the themes and styles of my contemporary's. It's like a conversation through
music and with all of the technology we use it feels like some sought of magical scientific experiment.

But you get the picture. I'm interestead by the future and allways thinking positive, again some of this and the style even of this LP (Kinesiology)
was born from the positive vibe left by the nineties techno bands such as 'The Shaman' 'Opus III' and 'Sunscreem' One day I may even get some
positive vocals back into the electronica world, I think it's been missing for a while and a good techno band for that matter.

I guess one major influence and an artist who I really get into is 'The Higher Intelligence Agency' the LP's 'Colurform' and 'Freefloater' still remain my all time
favourite's and I'm allways playing them even for mastering comparisons in my studio. I have my own ideas about the now style of minimal electronica
and ambient techno, but somehow the 'More or Less' issue really comes through with Bobby Birds tracks, check him out if you can.

So that's how it is really, too much other stuff, sometimes even very important wholeistic concepts that I like and ifluence my style, I live nr Glastonbury
so I can't even begin to tell you that other side of life, but it's there non the less, I love my garden right now and helping young people get started in
music I'm thinking of new concepts involving web graphics and future tracks, and trying to not spend all my money of software, even though I love making
music with the latest things, It reaches a point were you have to put in the effort and stretch the stuff you have to do the things other artists can do easier
than you, but 'The devils in the detail' as they say...

Take it easy, stay healthy and enjoy the freedom of your sense's.

All the best.
