Phil Springer, composer of such hits as "Santa Baby", "(How Little it Matters) How Little We Know", "Moonlight Gambler", "All Cried Out", and "The Next Time", is one of the few surviving active songwriters of Tin Pan Alley.
Among his great collaborators represented on this album are E. Y. "Yip" Harburg, Carolyn Leigh, Joan Javits and Buddy Kaye.
The title song of the album expresses Phil's philosophy of life... that when he leaves this planet, he wants a song left floating in the air to reach friends he never knew.
This album contains 25 of Philip Springer's thousand-plus output of songs.
