Although nine years in the waiting and one year in the making,Soli Deo is not a huge departure from the musical style that made Paul a highly recognizable voice in contemporary Christian music in the 80"s with The Imperials and then in the 90"s with five solo projects and seven number radio hits including "Back To Who I Am" and "Unimportant Things". The project once again contains the easy-rolling soft- rock style found on earlier recordings,but listeners will also discover a fresh,somewhat inspirational flavor that Paul has always had a musical leaning toward,but never recorded.
Although still active in concert ministry throughout the United States,Paul has served as a worship pastor at First Baptist Church-Colleyvile,Texas,one of the fastest growing churches in the Dallas/Ft,worth metroplex over the last five years. He continues to minister to his generation as well as to new ones and supports ministries around the world with his music.
