Album Notes

The Paul Spencer Band released a total of seven CDs, all products of live recordings. This makes eight.

"Latin Cooking" was recorded in four club sessions that took place at Carolines Jazz Club in January and April of 2003. We were simultaneously recording for the CD and entertaining a live audience and we had additional artists on stage during the performance. Because of the Latin theme of the CD, and because not all the material was Latin in nature, it was not included on "Latin Cooking."

We have also recorded our major concerts and produced CDs from some of them. After JAZZ EXPLOSION III in October 2003 we ended up with a lot of great left over material.

From these five sessions there were unused cuts that should be released and enjoyed.

This is how "Loose Cuts" came about. Every one is a gem.
