Music fans in Los Angeles and around the Web are discovering the techno-poetry that flows from singer-songwriter McKenna Rowe. Rowe created "Psykick Girl" as a stage persona, an alter ego representing the furious creative energy within her. Her lyrics explore everything from ancient goddesses to modern technology, and Psykick Girl's driving, richly textured music fuses influences from electronica to rock and back again.

Rowe's voice and music have drawn praise from critics, who describe her as "a modern day Annie Lennox" and "an inventive songwriter." Creative arrangements of breakbeats, strings, guitar and piano are bolstered by a unique voice of impressive range and authority.

Psykick Girl's fresh sound exudes a frenetic yet intelligent energy, a momentum that makes you want to jump in your car and hit the open road, or get up and do a tribal dance. Rowe invests long hours of creative development to make Psykick Girl performances transcendent experiences - shows that loyal fans and new converts are buzzing about. Rowe is joined onstage by a stellar rhythm section of bass and drums as well as a cavalcade of "guest performers" on saxophone, guitar and congas. The live show also features luminescent stage effects and synchronized video art.

Psykick Girl debuted her multimedia show at the Summer X Games in San Francisco to an audience of over 2500 people, and has headlined at prominent LA venues, including The Roxy, Vinyl, and The Gig.

Psykick Girl recently released a new full-length album, "THE NEEDLE HAS LANDED," with producer Jeff Moleski (Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, Local H, Low Fidelity Allstars) at Hollywood's Moletrax Studios. She is currently promoting the album with live performances around Los Angeles.
