Album Notes

Permission to Breathe WithanE is our second album.
You may be wondering what WithanE is about.
Well, over the years the band played many gigs and many times we would show up and the name on the marquis would be misspelled. Permission to Breath would be up there for all the world to see. So Withan E is us saying that Breathe with an E on the end. We came to the conclusion that most club sign spellers think breathe is spelled breath. It sort of became a running joke in the band. Would the club get it right was always on our mind when we would pull up to the venue.

The line-up for this album was a trio. Matt Webb took over for William Lyles on drums.
Bryan, who normally just sang, took over for Jason Russo on bass. We ended up liking the trio sound, it was easier on the road. One less ego.

The first four songs on the album were recorded by Rob Warren up in Lodi, CA.

The rest of the songs were recorded live from several shows up in Oregon at the state fair.
If you listen close you can hear people screaming out in the middle of some of the songs.
They have a great live feel because of course, they are live.
We still get emails about those shows up in Oregon.

Our song “Moody Bastard” (always a crowd favorite) was placed in the movie “Quicksand” with Michael Dudikoff. So were pleased with that. People tend to think that they are the moody bastard. So many people would come up to us after a show and say man “I’m the moody bastard”. People also wanted to know who in the band was a moody bastard. Well Bryan takes that honor. Erle is a close second and Matt just laughed at us both.

An update on members: Bryan is working on a solo album. Erle is working at the famous
EA Sports as Audio Director and Matt is somewhere in Florida last we heard.
