ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bringing the good vibes.

"Breathe is a well-rounded, hard-hitting album – a standout effort from a band on the rise."
-AlgoRhythms

"...like Zen, with explosions!"
-PJ, sound engineer.

"There’s no shortage of booty-shakin’ island groove on Breathe, the band’s second full-length album. From start to finish, the irie quintet ably blends elements of traditional reggae with some seriously slinky funk and hints of electronica."
-Seven Days

This one nails it.
I've seen these guys live and I thought "there's no way they could capture this energy on a CD," but here it is, and they did it. It's a good mix of heavy serious tunes and light fun stuff. Those grooves are DEEP, like you could strip away everything but the drums and bass and it's still got enough to make you move (which they do from time to time). Beautiful 3-part harmony on the vocals. Top-notch playing. One of the best sounding CD's I've heard, period. 'Nuff said.
