Album Notes
A howdy yall from Jason and the Punknecks, who honky tonked it all the way from Hollywood; a “Heavily tattooed, L.A. based, punk-country band, who mixes Social Distortion with a little bit of hillbilly hollerin’ and a hint of Hank Williams”-RAGE Magazine. Not only is their sound a ‘one of a kind’ genre, but their style is just as unique. This fast rising band has energy on stage that makes you wanna get out of yer seat and join in on the drinkin’, interactive, musical fiasco. Jason and the Punknecks have been seen in Rock City News, L.A. Weekly, f5, and Nashville Scene. With, as seen on TV, lead singer, Jason Price (who holds world record on “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” for longest flesh suspension), Polly Punkneck as harmonies, and Pan Man Kevin, who plays an eclectic percussion set, made up of: washboards, trashcan lids, and cardboard boxes. Their sound has been takin’ on the road, playing around the country for all yall folks to hear. So raise them glasses and check ‘em out!
