"PURE ACOUSTIC" is a guitar based duo (6 string and 12 string)who's music is soulfully driven with an acoustic edge. The band originated from the Snowy Moutaain region of Australia and was formed after "jamming" at a local theatre groups(thredbo players)end of season party. They have performed throughout Sydney, the east coast, and country N.S.W. in folk festivals, pubs, clubs, bars, cocktail lounges, band venues and acoustic lounges.

Their first C.D. "ONE" encompasses a range of genre's within the art of acoustic music from ballads to edgy rock.the songs come from a human point of view and are written with heartfelt emotion.

"Pure Acoustic" is: Douglas Sandrini and Craig Grech, both from different musical backgrounds they bring to the group something special.

Classically trained,Douglas has been playing guitar since the age of 10 and has entertained crowds around Australia, from Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Noosa, Thredbo and Jindabine.

A song writter with a strong individual style and voice, Douglas presents his audience with a rich mix of acoustic music delivered with strength and confidence.

Craig Grech a contempory guitarist with 20 years musical experience,is a polished performer with a relaxed and easy style. His influences range from folk through to blues to rock.

Craig has performed to audiences in and around the Snowy Mountains and throughout Sydney and Melbourne.

Totally self funded and promoted "Pure Acoustic"is a hard working band with a love for all forms of music.When not performing the band is constantly writting and recording new material for release on their upcoming C.D's.
