Welcome to purrbot’s newest album. Haven’t heard of purrbot? You, my friend, have everything to gain. A friend of mine once described his music as, “what it sounds like when a snail has an orgasm.” Other apt descriptions include: the sound of snowflakes landing on a frozen lake, the galloping of a horse disappearing over the horizon, or the heartbeat of a humming bird. Sound too poetic? Nah. His banjo strumming and soft crooning will make you feel right at home—like a backyard campfire, or a basement show. It’s the kind of music that will inspire you to cull through your old diary entries to discover hidden moments of genius. Purrbot is unafraid to share his most uncomfortable personal moments, and in doing so, he transforms them into something beautiful, relatable, and downright fun to listen to.
