WORD A Tex-Mex spitfire with a rock 'n' roll heart, this San Antonio native plays a border-crossing, bilingual mix of flamenco flamboyance and down-in -the mud exuberance that's a Lonestar original. John T. Davis /Austin Amercian Statesman "Patricia Vonne's latest recording is a bilingual tour-de-force. It melds eclectic with electric and exudes an elegance seldom associated with rock. Vonne is quickly taking her place among Texas' musical treasures." Margaret Moser / Austin Chronicle "This Austin chicana's lilt has a bit of the border desert in it and her down- on- drag tunage no doubt knocks 'em dead whenever she makes it to Lubbock, and her voice is thankfully as suited for Nashville as for No Depression. Chuck Eddy / Village Voice, NY "The San Antonio native's confident, tuff gal vocals, sharp musicianship and smart lyricism don't just promise the total package, they deliver the goods from the get-go." Joe Nick Patoski / Senior Editor Texas Monthly magazine

Unique, high energy - Her music will stay with you and makes you come back for more. I savored listening to "El Cruzado". The fifth time listening to it was just like the first. Patricia has a funky, country rock voice, that I think sounds even better when she sings in Spanish. Having lived in the american SW, she brings me back to that place.

Awesome high energy cd which vibrates with talent -- lyrics rich in color, flavor and tension. Vonne brings smoke, passion, mud and the lilt of voice to play in delivering noteworthy originals. Thank you. As a fellow musician, chantuse and admirer -- I would enjoy permission to record one or two of your songs on my first cd. Renee Rivers -- PHX, AZ rgrivers@msn.com

A warm touching singing in a good taste country rock. The perfect music while driving on I.10. Thrills guaranteed (otherwise you don't belong to the human race). If Swan had met her, he would have signed her on Death Records for the opening of the Paradise... Another CD soon ?
