Album Notes

"Still Voices" - the Story

I have known about loss for some time now but I never knew it came without prejudice- without much taste for status, time and place. It seems to keep
company with just about everyone I have known.
And what surprises me is that those who know it (as I do) do not wear their scars as I do. All day long I walk around in a world full of beautiful people, the hungry and aching, the bitter and wanting - and I have no sense of what brought them this far. It has been my shame to see that I simply don't have the eyes to recognize the life in others, the need in others. And what's worse is that I don't afford the time to change how I see.
My time on the road has been invaluable; it has been a gift to me to be able to see and more importantly hear
Gods heart for myself and others.
For I believe God speaks to us in quiet places. And it is in those places of rest that we are unable to rob ourselves
of passion and character- where good is not good enough and where better is the enemy of His best. I believe this is
where we find ourselves whole again.
If we could just walk away for a moment, seek His face and listen for the voice that rises in the silence I think we would hear God speak as He would to a little child.
"Come close, little one. I have the world to give you. Sit with me for a while for there is much to say".

So I pray as I age and my body fades that I would seek Him and enjoy my Father forever. I pray I see the gift I have
been given and I find His heart for me.
And I pray my eyes would change and I would see those around me in need of His voice.

P.W. releases another amazing album
author: Tony Pyle (Private Pyle)
This cd is one of the best cd's I have ever heard. There is simply no word that can describe this cd. O wait, I thought of one. Scrumtrelscent. Haha. No but seriously this cd is definitely worth the listen if you are interested in P.W.'s work. I had the oppurtunity to spend a month with P.W. on Work Crew at Lake Champion over the summer, and hearing his music live every week was something I will definitely never forget. You cannot help but think P.W.'s music genuinely comes from his heart and his true life experiences that have shaped him into the person he is today. P.W., thanks for another amazing album and god bless.
