Album Notes

Pyromatic has been rockin’ for nearly a decade. During this time they have been performing and writing their style of over-the-top, feel good, party rock anthems to an every-growing legion of fans. The band’s reputation for high-energy performances and their “attention to detail” songwriting approach has earned Pyromatic international success in CD sales and radio play. The band has also found themselves sharing the stage with highly successful and notable rock artists including Jackyl, Bulletboys, Anthrax, and members of Guns N’ Roses, Puddle of Mudd, Quiet Riot, and Love/Hate.

In 2004, Pyromatic members Bret Ward, Daniel Faulk, Waylon Hayes, and Heath Ward formed the record label Rock Room Records and began to work on their very first album of original material. The album displayed a deep love and respect for melodic rock and roll music shared by all four members. Songs like Angel No More, New Bad Habit, Falling In & Out Of Love, and Remember When were praised by those who saw them perform live and also proved that Pyromatic had the potential to capture the ears of those who listen to them. In 2005 the foursome continued to write and record on their own material and the result brought about four new recorded songs, Take A Chance On Me, Promise Worth Keeping, Different Way, and Taste of Love. These songs show that the band could continue their unique combination of classic and modern rock and incorporate new ideas to help them to evolve.

After three years of constant writing and recording demos, Pyromatic decided to take the time in 2006 to show people what they could do in a live performance. With nearly five hours of original and cover material, the band delivered a flavor of high-energy rock and roll that many modern bands lack when performing live.

In February of 2007 Milton Gore was recruited as an additional guitar player. Milton contributed to two new songs Prince Poison and Over The Edge. On August 12, 2008 Pyromatic released Reel & Stills, their long anticipated debut album of original material. The album has been praised by rock critics through out the world and the songs have proven themselves to be staples on major and indie radio stations all over the world.
