Album Notes

Fortune Favors The Bald is the long-awaited follow-up to Q*Ball\'s hit debut album, Q*Ball In Space. Q explores new, introspective themes of heartbreak & regret with a more mature, yet fun - & surprisingly pop-sounding - album. Fans of his previous effort will not be disappointed, as the powerful vocals, tongue-in-cheek lyrical style, superior production values, and awesome instrumentation (aided by producer & guitar god Bumblefoot) are evident once again.

The 2nd album from this NYC-based electro-pop musician is one of those occasional gems of good music that proves that there is good, interesting pop music being made. Pop music that isn\'t pretentious shallow tripe but that actually has some depth and feeling, as well as being uncompromising party music.

FFTB has a certain teenage high-school \"coolness\" naiveté (if there ever was such a thing), a feeling and attitude like that of the 90\'s cult TV series \"Parker Lewis Can\'t Lose,\" but with a bit more kick. \"Coolness!\"

Featured on MTV\'s The Real World. Featured airplay on WLIR (NY), WFDU (NY), WHRL (NY), WHTG (NJ), KUCI (CA), WWZZ (DC), WMUC (DC), WXOU (MI), KUGS (WA), KUPS (WA), KTCL (CO), Radio Marabu (Germany), & dozens of Internet stations across the globe.

Q*Ball has performed with Gavin DeGraw, Sugar Ray, Aimee Mann, Mya, Eve 6, Splender, & more at venues ranging from NYC\'s legendary Webster Hall to Madison Square Garden.

He's going to get inside your head!

I can't stop! Can't stop, can't get enough! Oh, how true that phrase is of Q*Ball's second album, Fortune Favors the Bald. Whereas on Q's first album he was getting himself on track and some songs are hit and miss, the follow-up album is a force to be reckoned with. Joined once again by Ron Thal, Q paves his way through pop-rock-electronica with the use of humorous imagery, constant hooks, and a voice so smooth it could act as a butter substitute. Move out of the way Marg! Here comes Q*Ball! This is his showcase.
