Formed in 1990, Q-South made their steady climb up the ladder of New York music that would culminate with their 1997 self-titled release "Q-South"...Their reputation for Dionysian live shows preceded them in city after city on stage after stage.....Known as "The band that no other band wanted to follow" Q-South carved a name in the New York Music history book.....This live performance at C.B.G.B. is a raw glimpse into the truly alternative music they provided night after night.....In his early 20's street shaman Walker Hornung led the Bacchanalian chaos years before he would step into the world of Soca Music...Guitarist Chris Deleo and his nylon string Chet Atkins guitar and furiuos right hand. Matt McCann(bass),Eddy Joe McCabe(conga) and Edward "Ace" Klinger(drums) combined to make the tidal wave of percussion and power that Q-South unleashed in the 1990's. Recorded at the famous C.B.G.B's on August 18th, 1993 with some of their best known songs still unformed and in their infancy...this recording is rare, raw and just a small page in the mighty Q-South's story.
