Album Notes

Cd info:

This is a compilation cd of 3 songs from Quamon's first cd recorded in 2000, "Introducing Quamon Fowler", 3 songs from a unreleased recording session done in New Orleans, LA at University of New Orleans as a joint leader with Maurice Brown entitled, "MQ 20/20" in 2002, and a song from Quamon's upcoming project recorded in 2004 called "The Vision".

Quamon won the 2002-2003 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer's Award from entering his original "The Reinforcement" (Track 1). "I wanted to release this compilation disk of my originals of course to display my work, but I also wanted to expose the musical direction that Maurice and I shared in our group that we started called M.Q.20/20. I have a heart towards instrumental praise, praising God through music with our instruments just like David in the Bible did. This is just a glimpse of what is to come". Quamon Fowler

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:2-3

So stay tuned!!!
Quamon
