Lead Vocals and Bass
Raised in Newbury Park, California, Nick's life in music began when he had started taking violin lessons at the age of 5. Towards the end of his middle school days, Nick had raved at the idea of being in a hard rock / metal band after being inspired by his # 1 idol Ozzy Osbourne. That's when Nick (at the age of 12) decided to buy his first bass and had performed his first gig with a band at the teen center through the Rock 'n' Roll High program. It was around Nick's junior year in high school when he met Mike Mahan during their first period of Jazz class together. After a long period of shred time and hangin out, Nick had finally found the his perfect match to start his career in music.
Drums and Vocals
From day one, Mike Mahan has always been interested in music. He got his first drum set when he was three years old, but even before that he was drumming on anything close. When his parents realized how interested he was in music, they got him a drum set for his third birthday. From that day on, he has never lost any interest in drumming. His biggest inspiration was Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. When he started experimenting with the double kick pedal at age twelve, another huge inspiration came into play: Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan of Avenged Sevenfold. For almost three years, he has been actively playing in a metal band called Quarantine, from the Conejo Valley. He has been used for multiple recordings, gigs and also has experience being a drum tech. With a well-rounded background of genres like funk, and all kinds of rock, from classic to new-age, he has developed the style of a hard rock/metal drummer.
Lead Guitar and Vocals
Tanner X was weaned on guitar from the raw age of 11 years destined to be a metal head. Tanner's influences range from Angus Young, to Kerry King, to Synyster Gates. Tanner has played in various bands in his career and has found his home with Quarantine. Tanner brings Quarantine the edge that helps create the sound that separates Quarantine from other hard rock / metal bands. Quarantine is proud to announce that Tanner X is an endorsee of Schecter Guitars and Diezel Amplification.
