"Chorus of the Commoners" at its core is basically a timeless collection of working-class Americana inspired Punk Rock. Amid critical acclaim of thier 2008 Queen City EP this ragtag troupe of seasoned music vets (former members of Nothing Left To Lose) and new-comer Dalena Milner offer up a testament of true blue-collar punk rock anthems. Over the course of 2008 The Queen City Saints spent thier time writing and recording with Producer Brent Young to accomplish one of the most anticipated regional releases of 2009. With influences as wide-ranged and unique as Leatherface (UK), Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, The Bouncing Souls, Missippi John Hurt, and The Loved Ones they are starting to make a mark in the regional music scene that is undeniably real. In an age of watered down, overproduced, commercialized banality The Queen City Saints are bound at a personal level to bring back the purity of Midwest punk rock and roll. With influences that have withstood the test of time they have decided to sway broods of lost listeners into the sea of new direction while sharing the stage with the likes of some of their mentors and friends in The Street Dogs, Flatfoot 56, Koffin Kats, MXPX, and more. Its all about getting the listener involved, worn out, and encouraged in music again. -Pike Zero Collective
