UNTOUCHED is a one-time only recording: I no longer perform live as Queenie. UNTOUCHED was recorded on March 12, 2006. There are 8 original songs for voice and piano and 7 songs for voice and Classical guitar. 3 extra otherwise unreleased songs are added at the end.

NO PITCH CORRECTION/FIXING OF ANY KIND was used in UNTOUCHED.

I have been working on a completely new, more hi-fi sound for an upcoming album of new songs called the DREAM OF FLIGHT.

WHO IS QUEENIE?
Queenie is a fantasy character that has evolved to express my musical side. The name was borrowed a long time ago from a book by Michael Korda, but I liked it because it's a common pet name as well as a name for people of mixed-race descent. I am half-Japanese and half German-Irish.

a real voice shining through!

As a singer myself I am often annoyed by the overtreatment of vocals in the actual mixes and hit songs. You cannot know what is real anymore. Thus when you listen to such an hialine, pure like a crystal voice, with the only support of her spirit and fingers in the piano or guitar, you cannot help to think... ok, even in a campfire completely unplugged you would find how a real voice and a beautiful composition can shine through. Well done my dear friend, feel proud of you!
