Great tribute to a master from a master
author: Juan Morales
Joe Quijano's tribute to Frank Sinatra in the NYC salsa style is a great recording. Joe swings like Sinatra but keeps firmly in salsa mode. The arrangements are excellent, and the musicianship is the best - no wonder as Joe uses the cream of latin musicians from New York. Quijano is a master band leader and this and his past work as essential for any salsa dancer or salsa music collector! Que viva las salsa, que viva Joe Quijano!
