Album Notes

QUINCEY is a jazz quintet from The Netherlands, founded in 2001. Their original urge to just get together and play, soon evolved in an urge to make a difference and contribute to whatever was already there. QUINCEY is all about improvisation and communication, and their original repertoire offers them all the opportunities to do so. Their music is fresh & adventurous, yet recognizable and accessible. This combination invites the listener to come along on a musical trip full of surprises.

Over the years, QUINCEY has released four albums:

Balcony of the Irish Turtle (2011)
Circus (2008)
Live at the Bimhuis (2006)
D109G (2004)
